Tunisian foundation chain

Also known as the tunisian simple stitch, many say this stitch is the one of the closest to knitting. Here i'm going to show you the foundation stitch.

Chain about.... Well, for practice, we'll just do 6. You can do any number of chain stitches, but 6 are shown here.
Insert your hook in the second chain from your hook.
Wrap the yarn around once (yarn over), then pull off the stitch.

There are now two loops left on the hook.

Insert your hook into the next chain, yarn over and pull off the stitch.

There are now three loops left on the hook.

Continue this until you reach the end of the row.

There should now be 6 loops on the hook.

Yarn over and pull off 1 loop.

Yarn over and pull through 2 loops.

Continue until you only have one loop on your hook.

One Tunisian foundation chain completed.
